Ongoing Assessment/Evaluation
Every 6 months, your Early Interventionist (EI) will complete an assessment to see how your child has progressed. Our assessment evaluates 6 areas of development, so we get a better look at the “whole child”. Assessements help all of us make better decisions for your child, see progress, and gather everyone's input.

Special Instruction
Weekly or bi-weekly 1 hour session with you and your child, where your Early Interventionist (EI) will engage in play-based strategies to help your child learn and grow. This is your time to ask questions and learn how to best help your child meet the goals the child’s team has set. Good news: you’re a huge part of your child’s team!

Service Coordination
Your Early Interventionist (EI) will link you to outside resources and make referrals for other services including:
-Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy
-Vision and Hearing Testing
-Genetic Testing and Counseling
-Autism Evaluation, ABA Therapy, and other Autism resources and services
-Public School Services starting at age 3
-TEFRA Medicaid, ABC Daycare Vouchers, DDSN Eligibility
-Help link you with other families who have children like yours!
-SO much more based off your child and family's needs!

Developmental Activities
Children learn best through play!
Your Early Interventionist (EI) will use sensory activities, crafts, developmental toys, and manipulatives to work on:
-cognitive skills
-language and speech skills
-gross and fine motor skills
-social skills
-following directions
-self-help skills
-sensory play skills
We will also help you use what you have at home to carry over learning throughout your daily routines!
